Circuit introduction

The circuit wants to be a platform that contributes to the personal and sports development of the participants. This is how we understand competition: formative and complementary to their education. To make this possible, we focus on two aspects:

Tour aspects

Values Activities

Sports activities/dynamics that are carried out during tournaments so that players assimilate and internalize the values we promote through sport, always from the educational perspective and starting from the fact that children have fun. They are fun dynamics, related to sport and tennis. In addition, small talks, conversations and feedback about matches, their competitive situations, etc. are held in them to carry out this transmission of positive values.

Competition

Competition is the central axis of the tour and it must focus on fair play, respect (for the opponent, facilities, tournament organization, etc.), effort and camaraderie, among others. The focus must be on how you win and how you lose, beyond the result. This how must go hand in hand with the aforementioned values so that players improve in their daily lives as tennis players and people.

Values conclusion

It is evident that these two aspects of the tour go hand in hand and that is why we promote these values and positive attitudes from different areas. The aim is for them to incorporate them into their daily lives and play, compete and share these positive values. Specifically, emphasis is placed on the importance of behaviors not only in the competitive field, but also off the courts, and for this purpose new dynamics have been created for the 2026 edition that put them into practice. In addition, in this training aspect, the involvement and participation of both players and families and coaches is encouraged. Within the variety of positive values that favor coexistence and the personal and sports development of young people, the dynamics that make up the 'values training' of the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander focus on:

Tour values

The capacity that we people have to become aware and fulfill something that we have previously agreed upon. It is about assuming responsibility for any behavior and acting correctly.

Camaraderie

The friendly and collaborative relationship between different people, with solidarity, empathy, generosity, respect...

Effort

The capacity to work with discipline, to fulfill obligations and to assume responsibility for results. It is about acting with constancy to overcome oneself.
