Introduction
The Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander is a junior tennis charity tournament that was born in 2014, launched by the tennis player Rafa Nadal and for the benefit of the Rafa Nadal Foundation. It is held annually and includes girls and boys U-12, U-14, and U-16 categories.
The Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander was created with the aim of complementing the sports competition with an educational aspect. In all tournaments, activities and sports games are carried out to promote fundamental values in the players for their personal and sporting development. Precisely, the values training is an essential element of the tour and one of the factors that have contributed to its unique character.
The Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander 2025 will make stops in: Barcelona (RCT Barcelona – 1899), Mairena del Aljarafe – Sevilla (Club Río Grande), Valldoreix-Barcelona (Club Esportiu Valldoreix), Alicante (Club Atlético Montemar), Majadahonda – Madrid (Club Internacional de Tenis), Bilbao (Real Club Jolaseta) y Gran Canaria (Cortijo Club de Campo)
From 30 October to 2 November, the master will be held in Mallorca (Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar), in which the top seven ranked players in the U-12 and U-14 categories will participate, as well as the top six in the U-16 categories. In addition, the four winners of the "Values Trophy" (two in the U-12 and two in the U-14 categories) will also play de Master.
It should also be noted that the U-12, U-14 and U-16 Spanish championships conducted by the RFET (Real Federación Española de Tenis - Spanish Tennis Federation), count toward the tour’s ranking — therefore, the players of each of the tour’s tournaments will earn points according to the round they have reached.
